1942 VKT Finnish M39 - with Extras and 170 Rds of Ammo

A very nice piece of WW2 history and an excellent shooter

9/10 bore - bright with strong, sharp rifling

The original arctic birch tock is solid and free of cracks. There are some scuff marks and 2 small gouges - typical of an 83 year old war rifle.

Bluing is largely intact.

I fully disassembled this rifle about a year ago and lightly oiled below the woodline. I did not find any cracks or rust.

Numbers match on the bolt, receiver and barrel (the only parts numbered by the Finns in most cases)

Extras include an original sling with Finnish Army and Civil Guard markings, an original cleaning kit, and 170 rounds of ammo with ~20 original stripper clips

145 rounds are brass-cased, reloadable PPU rounds
5 rounds of surplus

20 rounds of wolf steel-cased

These are considered the very best Mosin Nagant rifles you can get your hands on.
