Rare Thompson Icon Precision hunter 6.5 creedmoor

The Thompson Icon is a precision rifle that Thompson was producing before Smith and Wesson bought them. They did not know how to market a precision rifle so they discontinued it. The 6.5 was made the last year it was produced. There were few factory 6.5 made around the 2010-2012 time. This however is the precision hunter model which is even more rare it has a free float barrel. Fluted 20 inch barrel with 5R rifling. Look up 5R if you are not familiar. I have included a target, the target shows my 3 shot group. I recognize that a .69 is good but not great. However it was made with very cheap ammo. I have better groups with better ammo but I don’t have any pics of it. Trigger is light with no creep. Integrated rail machined into the receiver Overall it’s in fantastic condition. It has some wear on the bottom by the sling mount see pic. It is a head turner because laminated wood stocks are kind of rare these days. The grip palm swell is fantastic. This is a beautiful rifle ready to go. Comes with a 3 round mag. Optic not included.
