Remington 700 7 PRC Vortex Viper MOA Precision Package

This project started out as a Remington 700 7mm Rem Mag that was old and inaccurate.
The action was thoroughly cleaned, blasted, trued and tuned by Stiglitz Firearms of Caldwell, ID.
-The action face and bolt lugs trued square, inside the bolt body was cleaned and polished.
-Firing pin, bolt shroud and cocking piece deburred and smoothed for making strong and consistent firing pin fall and ignition.
-The ‘C’ style extractor was removed and replaced with a Mini-16 style extractor for flawless extraction every time.
-The rear of the action was sleeved to remove slop/movement at the back of the bolt.
-The action was then topped with a 20 MOA Modular Driven Technologies scope base which was epoxy bedded to the action for a flawless fit.

The factory stamped recoil lug was replaced with a precision ground Pacific Tool and Gauge recoil lug.

Bartlien #3 Heavy Sporter 7mm barrel was chambered and threaded in 7 PRC and fitted to the action. Finished at 22”

The barrel, action and bolt were then treated with KG Industries K-Phos for extreme corrosion resistance and coated using their Nano Series GunKote in SOCOM black for final finish.

Meraki Machine M1 Self Timing muzzle brake installed and leveled to action.

Timney Elite Hunter trigger was timed and tuned to 2 lbs

The action was then epoxy bedded in a KRG Bravo chassis.

MDT 5 round AICS mag

The rifle comes as shown with Vortex Viper HD 5-25x50 FFP 30mm VMR4 MOA reticle mounted using Area 419 Match Rings.

Rifle was test fired with a total of 7 rounds through the barrel using Hornady ELD-M ammunition. Test fire done by Stiglitz Firearms to prove rifle accuracy, shooter ability can not be guaranteed.

Rifle as pictured weighs 11lbs 7.5oz
